I was born and raised in the Maasai Mara, where my earliest memories are of grazing my father’s cattle and sheep across this extraordinary landscape. What visitors call wilderness, I have always called home. Growing up alongside wildlife—watching elephants roam freely, hearing lions at night, and learning to protect our livestock from predators—gave me a deep understanding and respect for nature that continues to guide me today.
After completing high school, I spent a year teaching before pursuing my passion at Koiyaki Guiding School, one of the Mara’s most respected guide training institutions. I graduated in 2011 as a Bronze Level Safari Guide and began my career at Serian Camp before joining Sentinel Mara Camp, where I spent 13 years and rose to the position of Head Guide after earning my Silver Level Guide certification.
Today, with over 15 years of professional guiding experience, I am proud to share my home through Masai Origin Safaris.
